Wendy Wilson - Business and Production Manager, Stewart’s wife, handles the business part of running a publishing enterprise in addition to handling the production of our products and keeping Stewart (and Juanita) on track with deadlines for his various books and other commitments. She is now the National Advertising Manager for AERO Australia magazine in addition to all the above.

Wendy was born in Cairns, far north Queensland (Australia) and travelled extensively in Australia and overseas as her father was a serving member of the Royal Australian Air Force.

She attended ten different schools in a twelve year school life - most military families will understand this lifestyle. Wendy’s working background is in accounts, advertising, event management, equipment sales, public relations, publishing, web design and business management including extensive experience in the road transport industry.

Wendy has worked in male dominated industries most of her working life. She's worked in a mining town in NW Queensland. Sold leading brands of trucks and was the first woman to attend and pass Kenworth's Sales Engineering course at Bayswater, Vic. Managed two successful truck body building workshops and been part of industry associations working to improve industry standards Australia wide.

One of her hobbies is motor racing, and this is where she and Stewart met. Other hobbies include reading, gardening, stained glass work, sewing and Australian native animals and plants.

One of the joys of our country environment is the ability to break the day by watching native birds, especially the tiny wrens, flying around our gardens. We have a growing number of Blue Tongue lizards who seem to believe the garage is their domain. They vary in size from five inches to about 12 inches in length. They love grapes.

A tribute to my father who passed away 6 December 2003.
